Extracurricular Activities Update Sept. 2013

Marching band is preparing for their first competition at Ryle this weekend.  Good luck, Eagles!

Choral Boosters has begun a private lesson program at the high school to offer students voice and piano lessons.  Seventeen students from Milford have been accepted into the OMEA District 14 Honor Choir. Congratulations!

The Reflector (MHS newspaper) is part of an exchange program with the Clermont Sun.  Reflector students will be designing and providing content for 2 pages of the Clermont Sun once a month for this program. The first issue with content will be Thurs., Oct. 10 with including coverage from Homecoming.

New Voices continues to work with the Drop Inn Center this year in conjunction with Prairie.  Nine students were selected to participate and are learning a lot about the issues surrounding homelessness.

The MMT Drug-Free Coalition is again offering after school opportunities for students to get involved.  Book Club, Cooking Club, and Ski Club are among the offerings and will be starting soon.  Fall has a lot happening you don’t want to miss! Come out and support our students!  Go Eagles!
