St. Andrew’s Invention Convention showcases young ingenuity

I can’t even remember how many years I have been asked to judge the annual St. Andrew’s Invention Convention – but every year, I am amazed at the talent and ingenuity exhibited by these sixth graders.

This year was no exception: students took everyday problems and came up with unique solutions. My favorite, as a former daily newspaper delivery person: a slingshot-type device that launches papers on to the driveway from your bike!

Here are just a few pictures of the creative sixth graders at St. Andrew’s – keep up the great work, kids!
