Spring sports are in action and despite the uncooperative weather the Eagles are finding success!
Softball: The defending ECC Champion Eagles softball team remained undefeated (5-0) in league play with a 17-2 victory over Walnut Hills. The girls have scored a total of 72 runs and only given up 9 against ECC opponents.
Baseball: The boys are also off to a fast start with a 2-0 ECC and 6-1 overall record. In their last 5 victories the Eagles are averaging 6 runs a game will giving up only about 1 run.
Girls Track took second place at the New Richmond Invite, just 15 points shy of first place. The Eagles finished in first place in nine events, including the 200 meter dash (Lindsey Lawsen), 400 meter dash (Piper Hilliard), 800 meter run (Hilliard), 1600 meter run (Lauren Best), long jump (Loewen Cavill), and a sweep of the relay events.
Boys Track finished 5th out of 17 teams at the New Richmond Invitational. David DiSilvestro is well on his way to reaching his goal of defending his ECC Championship in the 300 Hurdles and eventually reaching the State Meet in June.
Boys Tennis: The conditions were windy but the rain held off long enough for the Varsity Boys Tennis team to claim their first victory of the year Wednesday vs. New Richmond, 4-1.
