This was another calm month in the business of the Milford School District:

New Board of Education offices to be named for Dr. Farrell

On Friday, December 9, the Milford Board of Education thanked Dr. Robert Farrell for his almost 10 years of service and the excellence he has brought to our district in every possible way by announcing we will name the future Board of Education office in his honor: the “Dr. Robert B. Farrell Milford Exempted Village School’s Administrative Office Building.” This was made official via resolution at the December 15, 2016 school board meeting.

Two weeks ago, as part of the Alpaugh Scholars program through the University of Cincinnati Economics Center, I had the opportunity to hear a presentation by Ross Meyer of the United Way. He discussed many issues related to education, including what education ideally leads up to: a job and career.
