During this levy season, I have been asked a number of questions about the 4.7 mill bond issue the school district has placed on the ballot. The holidays took over in December, and I never did get the 12/14 meeting information out – so here it is, along with this month’s update. Operations in the Milford EVSD continue along a strong and steady path – thanks to our administrators, who have directed us toward continuous improvement in both educational results and fiscal management, we have now had years headed in the right direction.

Congratulations, Eagles Football!

A huge congratulations to our Milford Eagles football team and new head coach, Tom Grippa, who beat the previously-undefeated Anderson last Friday, bringing the team to 8-1 overall, 6-0 in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference! With one more game this coming Friday (v. W. Clermont at home), the Eagles are projected to make the playoffs for the first time since 1986 … and if they win this Friday, they win the ECC title outright!

So sorry – I think last month was the first time in 7.5 years that I missed publishing articles for a monthly meeting when I was in attendance – but I guess it was bound to happen.
