While the fall season may be coming to a close, the excitement hasn’t stopped in post-season play!
The girls’ volleyball post-season action has been electrifying! Their win over Fairfield in the 1st round of Sectionals advanced them to face Anderson where they picked up another win, and against higher seeds! In both contests, the Eagles were down 0-2 and won 3-straight to earn the match victory! They now face the #2 seed Mt. Notre Dame on Sat. Oct. 19 at 7:30 pm at Kings.
In boys’ soccer, the team gave Coach Croston his 100th career win at Milford by defeating Colerain in post-season play! The win put Coach Croston at the top of Milford’s all-time wins list. They take on Hamilton, at home, Sat. Oct. 19 at 7:00 pm for their next Sectional game.
The girls’ soccer team will host Mt. Notre Dame in post-season action tonight at 7:30 pm at home. Looking to defeat MND tonight, they would then advance to play Mon., Oct. 21 at Kings.
The boys cross country team, led by All-Conference 1st Team finishers A.J. Erdaty and John Brown, travels to West Chester Voice of America for Districts on Sat., Oct. 19. The lady Eagles also head there for Districts on Sat. Oct. 19.
In boys’ golf, freshman Nathan Arnold advanced past Sectionals to Districts in a valiant effort to qualify for State!
The lady Eagles golf team finished 1st in the ECC with a perfect record! Junior Megan Creager and Senior Aly Severns both qualified for Districts after outstanding rounds at Sectionals! Creager was awarded ECC Player of the Year! Leading the lady Eagles through their perfect season, Coach Sandy Garrison earned ECC Coach of the Year honors! What an amazing fall!
In Water Polo, the boys’ team heads to Mason for post-season action against their host team on Fri. Oct. 18 at 3:50 pm. The girls’ team also heads to Mason for their post-season competition against Glen Oak on Fri. Oct 18 at 12:35 pm.
In Eagle’s football, Jack Young was recently named WCPO’s Player of the Week for his three touchdown performance against Woodward. The Eagle’s host Turpin in their final home game tomorrow and will celebrate Senior Night on Fri. Oct. 18 with kickoff at 7:30 pm.
